The OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau, tweeted that the organization’s most recent flagship model will be the first to get an extended support.
A relatively recent development in Android handsets is the provision of more system updates. The first was Samsung, which provided flagship and less expensive cellphones with the 4+5 model. That is, where two substantial revisions are typically the norm. We didn’t have to wait long for more businesses to make similar announcements; OnePlus did so at the beginning of this year. It remained unclear, though, exactly what specific devices the 4+5 standard would cover. We only learned that it is related to modern smartphones. Updates will be sent to those currently on the market by the current schedule.
Pete Lau wrote today on Twitter that the OnePlus 11 is the first device with four system updates. On February 7, it will have its premiere and be accessible throughout our nation.
Updates in OnePlus 11 Pro
The number of updates might be enjoyable. But I have another thought in mind. versus their caliber. Why? Because I recently wrote about how OnePlus itself alerts smartphone customers to the most recent update. The 9 and 9 Pro versions, which are also well-liked in Poland, were at issue. The phone becomes a “brick” after installation and cannot be turned back on.
Is there a OnePlus 11 Pro?
But, no. OnePlus has previously released two versions of its phones: a base model and a “Pro” model with greater features. Nevertheless, the business abandoned that plan this year and decided to go all-in with just one multifunctional device. In essence, it is the OnePlus 11 Pro, minus the “Pro” label.
There is a OnePlus 11R with somewhat fewer features and a reduced cost. As this is only available in India, those of you making purchases in the US, UK, or Australia only need to consider the standard OnePlus 11.
A refreshed design, now with added waterproofing
The square camera unit of the 10 Pro has been replaced with a circular one that is fringed with metal and gently curves to meet the edge of the phone in 2023’s OnePlus flagship. The green color of my review model is fashionable and sophisticated, and the curved glass on the front and rear makes it satisfying to hold.
Potent power 11 Pro
The aforementioned Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, together with a substantial 16GB of RAM, powers the phone (on my review model). It has a strong chip that scored incredibly well on our battery of benchmark tests. Easily placing it among the most powerful phones available.
